Earnest Catholic, seminarian and prominent SSM NO advocate whom I suspect thought that the postal survey would see the silent majority voice their opinion in his favour and usher his return to the top job.
He is the elected member for Warringah, a blue ribbon Liberal seat that returned a stunning 75% YES in the recent SSM postal survey. He represents these people in Parliament, who he deeply disagrees with.
His sister is Christine Forster, City of Sydney Counsellor, and prominent SSM supporter.
His daughters all voted YES in the postal survey.
