Roy Kent. We have been enjoying Ted Lasso. Although it is about the fortunes (or lack of), of the Richmond Greyhounds’ exploits in the Premier League, we find ourselves in a comedy focused on the characters and their relationships in contrast to the two dimensional football professionals portrayed by the sports media. I am particularly enjoying the character Roy Kent (played by Brett Goldstein), a retired Richmond Professional with attitude who is now on the Richmond coaching staff.
