Another logo Icon.

This is another unadopted icon designed for a friend of mine and his new company...I might post the approved one at the appropriate time. He has an international industry specific educational college, and I thought of all the designs, this one would be the one they would choose. In the end they went with another design, that actually was a better fit in hindsight...I often need my clients to make me see things that I have become blind to.

Welcome to my new blog site.

I have never had the motivation to have a blog site, but seeing all my peers have one, it's time I jumped on the band wagon. This Eagle image is a few years old now, but it started out as an editorial assignment that was canned, something that happens to us illustrators from time to time. It started as a pencil sketch which I scan into photoshop to colour, then export to Adobe Illustrator where I use the trace tool to vectorise the colour file. Then I spend a fair amount of time editing by hand.
