The designer already had this concept fairly well finalised in the visual, but never the less, I had to redo the image from scratch for hi res printing. The final result was a coyright independent illustration with hi res detail for POS applications.

Strumbras Vodka
Stumbras Vodka....these were illustrations for designer John Blackwell in the UK as reverse labels to the backs of these bottles...as you know, vodka is being flavoured these days. I think it is a lithuanian company.

Tom Piper
Somehow I got involved in the branding of Tom Piper canned vegetables. This is what I came up with for them. I can't remember the name of the Melbourne agency but I think it was Cowans.
Advanced Healing Band Aids
Johnson and Johnson developed a range of band aids that act like a second skin, aiding swifter healing whilst keeping the bugs out...I had to illustrate these applications for the packaging. Design firm the Branding House.

Impulse Summer Shakers
Designer Zillah Dunton commissioned me to do these illustrations for the Impulse Summer Shakers range.
Palmolive Softwash
Photo illustration for Palmolive softwash following the designs of John Blackwell from the Branding House. The pack has since been updated.
Fountain Sauces
Ray Laws commissioned me to illustrate these icons to differentiate the various sauces in Fountain's range.
Cold Power Rainforest
The other part of the Cold Power job. A photo illustration using all sorts of royalty free images that I had to buy and some of my own photography so that I could get close to the visual presented. This type of work is more a retouchers type of thing, but they get illustrators to do it because it is supposed that illustrators have a higher set of image making skills....but I don't think that is so. This sort of stuff pays the bills, but we would rather use our drawing skills.
The Last Cold Power Wave
This is a photo illustration of the last Cold Power wave I did for Colgate Palmolive. The design firm in question has modified it slightly since but generally it has remained the same. One job that I may never have to revisit again. thankfully.
Bushell's Packaging
This is an updated illustration following the format of Nigel Buchanan's previous packaging illustration for Bushell's, this time me doing it my way, but it's not a huge departure compositionally from Nigel's, who I am assuming, was following the directions of his designer. This was commissioned by Red Star design and has since been replaced with new graphics designed by Landors I think. Quite a lot of work considering the range and pack size variations. Looks simple enough though. Just done in Photoshop.

Cold Power Apple Fresh
An illustration done in the 3D program FormZ and finished in Photoshop. For the packaging of a limited run Cold Power...Apple Fresh through the Branding House. Something that 3D does very well is maintaining a constant sharpness over an infinite field depth. No focal length problems unless you want that effect. So with the 3D program, the wireframed apples can be squashed together to eliminate gaps and rendered as a single file.

Fairy Bomb Absinth
I was asked by designer Nicky Kulkulka to have a go updating an existing image of the fairy for the green absinth Fairy Bomb energy drink. Again kicking the image about until Nicky was satisfied we were on the right track. These can be loads of fun.
Cold Power Wave
Something that I have done a few times now is produce the master image for Colgate Palmolive's Cold Power range. This time through the Branding House. I have done it three times now over the last 12 years. Quite appropriate for a surfer I think. This time employing the photo illustration ability of photoshop to design and execute. This image was the middle version. I may post the latest version a bit later.
Coca Cola UK Happiness Aluminium Bottle.
London Design firm LFH asked me to re-illustrate scenes from the animated TVC for the graphics on a range of new aluminium bottles for Coca Cola. Having only lo res grabs to use, I was employed to do hi res print ready versions and create new scenes compatable with the animated characters that I also had to redraw.

Palmolive Oxy Plus
This digital illustration was for Palmolives new Oxy Plus range....well it is a range of two, this one is Alpine Purity, the other one I did was Marine Purity, being bubbles and starfish. The illustrations are a combination of 3D, Photoshop and traditional illustration. It was printed on a shrinkwrap label, the print quality was quite good considering.
